I’m delighted to announce that on Wednesday 13th July 2022, OT Wholesale will be rebranding to Spicers - bringing the well known and loved brand back to the UK wholesale market.
Having spoken to many dealers and key industry bodies, there was a great enthusiasm to return the Spicers brand back to the wholesale channel due to its strong, longstanding heritage. And, as the innovators of 5 Star, Spicers is truly the home of our 5 Star product range.
Since Paragon’s acquisition of OT Group and Spicers Ireland in May 2020, a seven-figure sum has been invested into the group and the evolution of our dealer provision. This funding has fuelled the digital transformation of our finance, operations, and sales order processes – as well as leading-edge automation in our Ashton and Dublin warehouses, and further development of our procurement engine, SmartPad – all aimed to make working with Spicers easy for our dealers.
With further investment this year, we have exciting advances on the horizon to help drive dealer growth, including access to over 1 million products through our extended range initiative and further enhancements to our SmartPad procurement portal, with new features including a complete audit trail of orders, visibility of order status and detailed tracking capability.
We pride ourselves on being customer focused – something that sits at the core of Spicers as we seek to deliver you the right products, at the right price, and at the right time. This, coupled with our 5 Star products, offering quality, value & reliability; provides you with a stable and reliable supply and distribution platform going forwards.
